JUST IN: DRAMA AS MAN BREACHES RUTO'S SECURITY IN NAKURU
There was drama on Sunday after a man breached President-elect William Kenya Kwanza Alliance leader and now President William Ruto's security in in Njoro, Nakuru County.
The unidentified man, dressed in green trousers, blue shirt with white colours and a black jacket, carried a blue folder in his hands even as he ran towards Ruto while Nakuru Senator-elect Tabitha Karanja gave her speech.
The man, however, succeeded in handing Ruto the folder. Minutes later, Ruto was seen opening the folder as he smiled.
Ruto and other leaders of Kenya Kwanza were gracing an interdenominational church service at Lamudiarc High School Grounds on Sunday when the incident happened.
Ruto's security has previously been beefed up following an incident where Garissa MP Aden Duale was attacked during a rally in Garissa County.
The rowdy man sneaked past Duale's security and using the sidestep of the car, pounced on the MP, forcing him to cut short his speech.
The man attempted to pull down the MP's trousers before the bodyguards intervened.
